GOOD SHIRTS • 2011
Artist/Illustrator, with BBH
In collaboration with Threadless, UNICEF created shirts in the style and concept of a personal art project of mine called Wants For Sale. The shirts used the same innovative pricing structure as the paintings – each shirt costing the exact amount of the aid item depicted on it. Twelve shirts were designed, including worms, biscuits, tents and a cargo plane. The project raised over $375,000 for those in need in the Horn of Africa.
Insecticide treated mosquito nets: $18.57
Deworming Tablets: $36.10
High energy biscuits: $49.96
Water pump: $500
100 Metric tons of corn soy blend: $75,000.00
